KEIL’s Defender protects you against hot air drafts into your home through your ill fitting attic stairway hatch. Hot air spills into your home all day long all summer long heating up your home and making your air conditioner work harder and longer. In addition, your home is exposed to hhigher humidity making it even more uncomfortable than it needs to be.
During winter that same ill fitting, uninsulated hatch allows cold air to drop into your home making it colder and dryer than it needs to be. This just increases yourutility bills all winter long.
The Defender is installed once in less than an hour and then works every day to keep you more comfortable year long and to reduce your energy bills paying for itself in about a year! Order yours today!
Hydronic Baseboard heating sections provide even and consistent heat through lengths installed along the base of walls. These work through hot water circulation connected to a hot water boiler.
Baseboard sections can be added to, subtracted from or relocated within a system. Sections of baseboard can be formed into zones which can be connected together and controlled through a singular thermostat. Sections of baseboard can be replaced for either functional or cosmetic reasons.
Any home with a hydronically heated bedroom above a poorly insulated garage that is cold all winter is a candidate for adding additional baseboard lengths to keep that bedroom toasty warms all winter long.

Protecting your family and home from lethal carbon monoxide poisoning is simple: Keep a Carbon Monoxide Detector on every floor of your home, at least four feet from the floor. KEIL ensures that your home is equipped properly with these life-saving detectors and offers installation and maintenance on a brand we recommend over all others:
The NSI 3000A condensate pump is an automatic, tank-based pump that holds then when full removes water or condensate from air conditioners, furnaces, humidifiers and dehumidifiers when the waste water needs to be lifted to a source of disposal.
EZ-TrapThis clear PVC condensate trap allows you to see when a drain line clog is building up to the point of backing up. A simple swoosh of the attached cleaning brush allows you to clean away any trapped buildup or slime that could otherwise block the drain line, causing water to back up and flood the area.
EZ-Trap is a cost effective and “EZ” way to insure your air conditioner does not back up and create a watery mess on your floor or ceiling!
Protect your air conditioner year round with a Kool Kap. Day in and day out, your air conditioner’s condensing unit is subjected to the sun, rain, snow, ice, leaves, dirt, sticks and other debris. This debris collects in the bottom your condensing unit and traps water, snow and ice. All this trapped moisture causes your system to prematurely rust and corrode, damaging your system. By keeping your condensing unit clean, it will run at peak efficiency saving you money on your utility bills. Once a Kool Kap is installed, you never have to fuss with it. The Kool Kap remains on your condenser year round, so put it on, let it work and forget about it.
Solve most system airflow problems and increase efficiency
Why is Duct Work Important?Insufficient return air is a very common problem for furnaces and central air conditioners. It is also a problem that can be easily cured. Ductwork is based entirely on air flow and math, and if air ducts are not properly sized based on the amount of air needed to pass through them the system will not function properly or at its designed efficiency.
What It Means for Your System To Be Short on Return Air
Imagine a 12 lane highway with cars traveling in six lanes an each direction at 65 miles per hour. This highway is humming and cars are freely moving toward their final destination with no resistance. Until, the south bound lanes hit a toll plaza and the toll plaza has only three working tolls and none are EZ-Pay lanes. What happens, the southbound lane slows to a crawl and eventually backs up for miles because six lanes of traffic do not easily fit into three lanes of tolls. The next thing you know the north bound lanes begin to slow because they want to know what is happening to the south bound lanes. Before you know it neither lane of traffic is flowing to its capacity.
This is exactly what happens when your heating and cooling system does not have enough return air. The air gets caught in traffic and instead of moving 1,200 CFM of air your system is only moving 600 CFM and now the system is noisy, not heating or cooling properly and you are not comfortable in areas of your home.
What is the solution to energy inefficiency?
The first step in solving air flow problems is to check how efficient your system is. In this case the system includes the furnace, coil and condenser along with the air filter, duct work, insulation and the supply and return registers.
Once KEIL evaluates the capacity of your system, we can perform further testing to determine how to enhance it so that it will operate as close to it's potential capacity as possible.

This revolutionary product works without chemicals, salt or plumbing to help reduce scale buildup and prevent scale formation.
The ClearWave-HD works on all types of pipe including copper, PVC, galvanized and stainless steel. If iron is present in your water supply, we recommend the use of an iron filter prior to the ClearWave-HD.
When to use the ClearWave-HD: For the use with commercial dishwashers, ice makers, coffee/tea makers and boilers. To reduce spotting and other hard water problems in car washes. Can be used with hot tubs and swimming pools. Industrial applications include poultry farms, breweries, distilleries, soft drink manufacturers, dairy farms, ice factories, paper and steel mills, Merchant Marine, and Navy.
The ClearWave™ is the most advanced hi-tech computerized anti-scale device available today. It operates by using a programmed ‘chip’ to constantly cycle through and induce over 200 different electro-magnetic low frequency wave pulses into the water. These wave pulses produce water with remarkable anti-scale properties, without adding salts or chemicals, at an operating cost for electricity of approximately $5.00 US per year.
How It WorksPure water contains nothing but H20. But water, as it comes out of the ground, is rich in a multitude of minerals. Minerals such as calcium and magnesium are the main components of hard water, and the cause of scale formation and other problems.
There are three basic methods used to control the problem of hardness and specifically scale formation.
One method is to remove the calcium and magnesium from the water through ion exchange (the traditional water softener). This method requires the use of a resin filled tank with a high concentration of salt ions. As the water flows through the resin tank the salt ions (typically sodium) are exchanged for the calcium or magnesium ions. This lowers the concentration of the minerals that cause scale and therefore inhibits scale formation.
Chemical AdditionA second method used to control hard water scale is the addition of chemicals (such as phosphates) to the water. These materials chemically alter the scaling characteristics of the calcium or magnesium, allowing the concentration of the minerals to stay the same while still reducing scale formation and its affects.
Both of the above methods require the use of consumable materials to change the makeup of the water. For these devices to function properly, the homeowner must continuously replenish the salts or chemicals as well as perform periodic maintenance on the equipment. In addition to these inconveniences, the chemicals and salts discharged into the effluent water present problems downstream to the municipal water treatment facility and the environment. Many U.S. cities have been enacting and/ or evaluating environmental legislation to limit or reduce the levels of chemicals or salts that result from these types of water treatment methods.
Electric PotentialA third method used to treat the hard water problems associated with scale utilizes changes in electrical potential in the water to produce the affects of chemical addition. The electric potential applied changes the scaling characteristics of the calcium or magnesium without the removal of these ions or the addition of chemicals.

Day 1: The ClearWave action immediately starts to loosen existing scale in both the hot and cold water systems. One should find soap lathers more easily.
Day 5 and onwards: Scale begins to break down and come off water heater elements (immersion heaters) and tanks. Most particles are microscopic and will flow through your water system, but some small particles may be seen in the water coming from the hot water tap.
Day 10 to 16: It should be noticeably easier to wipe clean ceramic, plastic, glass, and metal surfaces. By now the quantity of bath soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, and laundry softening agents can be reduced. Scale should have loosened on faucets, showerheads, and frequently used appliances that boil water (such as coffee makers).
Day 16 and onwards: Scale should continue to loosen from faucets, showerheads, and pipes. With the continuing breakdown and reduction of scale from the heating surfaces of water heaters, water should heat quicker using less energy to achieve the desired temperature.
After 1 to 2 months: Any scaly crust or stains in toilets or under faucets should be significantly reduced. No new stains or crust should form. Mold that attaches to scale will begin to disappear from shower curtains and, once cleaned, should not reappear. Depending on the water hardness in the area, the full effects can take up to 12 weeks, especially if the system has been heavily scaled up over many years
If your car cooled as badly as your upstairs, you would sell it in a heartbeat. So why put up with it in your home?
How a Zoning System Solves Your Heating/Cooling Problems
“Forced air zoning” is a system that uses multiple thermostats and automatic dampers in your home’s ductwork, to intelligently control the air flow to every register in the house. Like a traffic cop, it directs the heated or cooled air only to the areas that require it. Since one thermostat is not "smart" enough to adequately sense your comfort needs everywhere throughout your house, a zoning system puts a thermostat in all the different areas of your home to guide the air exactly where it needs to be, and stop it from going where it is no longer needed.
A zoned system is far superior to having one (or even two) furnaces and air conditioners. It is not only more energy efficient, it also gives you the ability to have as many controlled areas as your home requires to guarantee absolute comfort. Wouldn't it be wonderful on a hot muggy night to just set a thermostat in your bedroom to 73 degrees and get a sound sleep—instead of moving to the downstairs couch to cool off!
